Customer Spotlight: Russell Orchards

Fall in Ipswich brings two things to mind: Apple Picking and Apple Cider... and Apple Cider Donuts (okay three things). And if all things apple are on your mind, there's only one place to go on the North Shore - and that's Russell Orchards. Located minutes from Crane's Beach, the family-run farm is open spring through late fall, but things kick into high gear this time of year as people flock to their fields for apple picking, hay rides, the petting zoo - and, of course, the donuts!

The bakery and farm store are tucked into the cozy quarters of a beautiful old barn, and the intoxicating aroma of freshly-baked cider donuts fills the air as you peruse a selection of fresh pies, fruit, produce, local gourmet treats and more. Stop by Friday - Sunday to sample their selection of house-made fruit wines and award-winning hard cider at the on-site tasting room.
