Customer Spotlight: Woodman's of Essex
A company that's name is synonymous with the Fried Clam (and needs no introduction), Woodman's of Essex has been serving up fresh seafood in the coastal town of Essex, MA (our neighbor) for 100 YEARS. Originally opened in 1914 as a seafood stand, and made famous by "Chubby" Woodman's invention of the fried clam in 1916, the Woodman's of today has transformed into a New England institution, with its award-winning restaurant, catering (and clambake) division, function hall, ice cream and gift shop.
Jungle has been working with Woodman's since 2010, when we first printed up shirts for the Deck's Day for Dubbers Golf Tournament to benefit the Woodman Scholarship, which awards collegiate scholarships to local students. Since then, we've gone on to work with the Woodman's team to provide everything from custom workwear for the restaurant and catering staff (think T-shirts, hoodies and polos), to custom promotional apparel that you can find in the gift shop like the classic "clam" and famous "clammer" Ts, baby onesies and more. Take a peek at some of the items we've done for them below - and get yourself down to Woodman's to get some for yourself!
Happy 100th Birthday Woodman's from all of us at Jungle!
