Customer Spotlight: Sweet Paws Rescue

Started in 2011 by Cynthia Sweet, Sweet Paws is a 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Essex, MA that rescues dogs from Mississippi, Alabama and Massachusetts. In 2014 alone they have rescued over 600 dogs - and nearly 2,000 since their start (and counting)! Here at Jungle, we've had the pleasure of working with Sweet Paws from the start to produce their now infamous 'Flying Opie' gear (t-shirts, hats, bags and bandanas!), which they sell online and at events to hep raise funds. Ryan in our print shop is a proud foster parent (and his American Pit Bull Terrier Camilla a proud foster sister), so we're lucky to be able to meet and spend time with some Sweet Paws rescues before they're placed in their permanent homes.
Sweet Paws is a 100% Volunteer-based non-profit, Sweet Paws has NO FULL-TIME STAFF, just a dedicated core of folks who donate their time before and after they finish their own full-time jobs. Additionally, with no dedicated shelter facility, all of these rescue dogs are cared for in the homes of the volunteers - or placed with local foster homes. 100% of all fundraising goes straight to the dogs (food, shots, spay/neuter, etc).
